Call for Resident Grand Rounds
We need you!
AFOS is pleased to announce a fantastic opportunity for residents across all services to showcase their unique or challenging cases from their first months of residency! With the ever changing scenarios surrounding COVID and in-person continuing education meetings, AFOS has adapted its typical format--BUT, this shift to a virtual meeting has opened up new avenues for delivering education to our members.
AFOS is looking for up to 10 cases (8-10 minutes in length) from our amazing resident pool. You will have the chance to gain professional development and hone your presenting skills (virtually, of course!). You will even be mentored throughout the presentation development process in order to set you up for success.
- Active AFOS Resident Member (email Dr. Lindsay Wright, AFOS Executive Director, for more information)
- Unique or challenging case
- 8-10 minutes
- Case specifics
- Condition overview
- 2-3 "learning pearls" for attendees
- Availability on a Tuesday, September 29th at 7:30pm ET
If you have any questions or if you would like to submit your case proposal, email Dr. Meghan Elkins, AFOS Board Member, by 9pm EST on Wednesday, September 2nd!
